Italy, Italy, Italy … Where shall I start with thee? The food?, the history? The fashion? The romance? Well, I just came back from my winter getaway vacation to Italy. I enjoying every bits and parts of it. Specially the food and shopping. We did some major shopping specially in Milan and attended two soccer games. Visited Romeo and Juliet’s place in Verona. Got in Juliet’s house and took pictures on her famous balcony, then saw her grave. We spent Valentine’s Day in Venice which was romantically amazing. Went to Lake Como and took a fun boat ride along the lake and stopped by Bellagio. Went to Sermoni for a nice dinner. Flew to Rome, to see the Coliseum, Roman Forum, and Vatican. Checked out Florence and got amazing Florentine/Tuscanian handmade shoes. Stopped by Pisa to see one of the world wonders which is Pisa Tower. Last but definitely not least, visited Naples and ate the best Italian food you could ever imagine. There’s something special about the pizza and pasta in Naples, I don’t know what exactly it is but I loved it. The overall food in Italy is beyond amazing, a lot of carbs but who cares lol. The coolest thing is their hot chocolate. It’s SO THICK to the point that it feels like you’re drinking thick melted chocolate. I would definitely go there again. Viva La Italia.
